Dr. Tom Zirpoli presented the Laurence J. Adams Community Service Award to Carroll Hospital Center at the 2011 Spring Gala. This award is presented annually to an individual or company that has made a significant difference, not only for Target, but for the greater community. Carroll Hospital Center has been a tremendous partner with Target and plays a significant role in the care and support of our clients. Not only do we celebrate the excellent medical care provided at Carroll Hospital Center, but also the professionalism and caring consideration displayed by the hospital's employees. We know that when our clients need emergency or scheduled medical care, they will be treated with dignity and respect by the doctors, nurses and staff at Carroll Hospital Center. Carroll Hospital Center has been a beacon of hope, support and service to our greater Carroll County community. This award honors all the employees of Carroll Hospital Center for their 50 years of outstanding dedicated service to our community. |

The Donald Rabush Award honors employees celebrating a milestone year of service at Target Community & Educational Services, Inc. Appreciation goes out to the following inidividuals for their dedicated service to Target and to our clients. Sharon Mitchell-Boyd and Carlann Donaldson-Czecha have served for ten years. The Joan Develin Coley Award is given to 2nd year Community Living Managers who are completing the McDaniel College and Target Community & Educational Services, Inc. Masters Degree program in Human Services Management in May, 2011. The Spring Gala is an elegant, black tie optional, evening affair that includes hors d’oeuvres, open bar, dinner, a live band, dancing, and an exciting silent auction. This is Target Community & Educational Services premier annual fundraiser, held the first Saturday each March at Martin’s West in Baltimore, Maryland.
