Celebrating our groundbreaking in Westminster, Maryland on October 26, 2026.

Home Is Where Life Happens

A home is more than four walls and a roof.

It's where we build friendships, celebrate milestones, share everyday moments, and make memories. It's where we feel comfortable, supported, and connected to the people around us.

At Target Community & Educational Services, we believe adults with disabilities deserve those same opportunities. For years, our residential programs have helped people experience independence, connection, and meaningful participation in their communities.

Why This Matters

As lives change, homes must change too.

As the adults we support grow older, their needs evolve. The homes that have served them well for years may no longer be the right fit for the next chapter of their lives.

That's why Target Community is building a new residential home.

“

Our participants are getting older, and their needs are changing. We believe they should have the opportunity to age in place, surrounded by the people and support systems they know.

That means our homes need to evolve alongside them. This project is about building a home that can meet their needs today and continue meeting those needs for years to come.”

President and CEO, Target Community & Educational Services, Inc.

More Than a Building

Building a home. Supporting a lifetime.

Our new residential home is an investment in the futures of the people who will live there. It's designed to better support their changing needs while preserving the everyday experiences that make life meaningful:

●A familiar routine
●A shared meal
●Time with friends
●The freedom to make choices
●A comfortable place to return to at the end of the day

These aren't extraordinary things. They're the ordinary moments that make a life extraordinary.
